2. Responsibility for pet safety: You are responsible for determining whether your cat is physically capable of using the system. Provide safe landing zones to aid descending.
3. Not suitable for all cats: The product may not be appropriate for kittens, senior cats, or cats with conditions affecting balance, vision, or mobility.
4. Proper installation required: Install exactly as outlined in the manual. Failure to follow instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or harm to your pet.
5. Structural requirements: Mount directly into structural wall components (wood studs or solid concrete). Verify your wall supports the combined load of product and cat(s).
6. Use of wall anchors: Provided anchors may not suit every wall type. Consult a qualified professional when needed.
7. Risks of incorrect installation: Improper installation may cause product failure, wall damage, and injury to pets or people.
8. No liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catterpod and affiliates are not liable for damages or injuries arising from incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to assess suitability.
9. Normal wear and tear: Carpeted and scratching surfaces are consumable and will wear over time. This is expected and not a defect.
10. Acknowledgment of risk: You accept full responsibility for safe installation and use of the system.
11. Regular inspection required: Inspect mounting points and components periodically. Re-tighten hardware as needed and discontinue use if safety concerns are found.
12. Weight limitations: Components are designed for typical domestic cats. Ensure dynamic loads from jumping remain within safe limits.
13. Children and the product: Catterpod is not a toy. Do not allow children to climb or sit on the system.
14. Modification warning: Do not modify products or combine with parts from other manufacturers.
15. Wall damage: Installation and removal may leave holes or marks on walls.
16. No veterinary advice: Consult your veterinarian to determine suitability for your cat.
17. Assumption of risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with use, including property damage, personal injury, or harm to pets.
18. Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary so the disclaimer remains in force.
