1. About Catterpod and these terms

This website and store are operated by Catterpod Studio Corp., trading as Catterpod. In these Terms of Service, “Catterpod,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Catterpod Studio Corp. Our store is hosted by Shopify.

These terms govern your use of our website and purchases from us. They should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Product Disclaimer and Safety Policy, and Privacy Policy.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled; accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required for marketing or optional tracking.

Nothing in these terms or the linked policies excludes, restricts or waives consumer rights, warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a provision conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail. For privacy matters, our Privacy Policy controls. Specific product, shipping and refund commitments made when you place your order prevail over conflicting general wording in these terms.

2. Eligibility and account information

To place an order, you must be legally able to enter into a contract and authorized to use the payment method provided. You must provide accurate and current contact, billing and shipping information.

If you create an account, keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must not impersonate another person or use their information without permission.

3. Products and configurations

We aim to describe our products accurately. Screen settings may affect how colors and finishes appear. Product images and configurator previews help illustrate a selection; review the listed components, dimensions, quantities and installation requirements before ordering.

We may update product listings, availability and prices for future orders. These updates do not authorize us to substitute materially different products in an accepted order without your agreement. If an ordered item becomes unavailable or a material error affects your order, we will contact you about available options, including cancellation and a refund for items we cannot supply.

4. Orders, prices and payment

Please review your selected products, quantities, colors, shipping address and order total before submitting your order. An automated receipt confirms that we received your order; we will communicate any inability to accept or fulfil it.

Prices and the checkout currency are displayed before payment. Our current US storefront uses US dollars. Applicable taxes and any disclosed charges are shown at checkout. Shipping is included for the destinations described in our Shipping Policy.

For preorders, payment is collected when the order is placed. If we decline or cancel an order after collecting payment, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the cancelled order or items. Promotional offers are subject to their stated eligibility, duration and other conditions.

The Founder offer closes on November 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Eligibility and benefits are described in the offer presented when you order.

5. Preorders, dispatch and cancellation

Products identified as preorders are not currently in warehouse stock. The overall preorder campaign closes on November 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Estimated dispatch is around January 8, 2027, approximately two months after the campaign closes. We will notify preorder customers when the campaign closes and if the production or dispatch schedule changes.

“Dispatch” means that the order leaves for shipment. Carrier transit time follows dispatch; the dispatch estimate is not a delivery date. Any more specific shipping commitment provided for your order will apply to that order.

You may cancel a preorder before shipment by contacting support@catterpod.com. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

If we cannot ship within the timeframe communicated for your order, we will notify you, explain the revised timing if known, and offer the choice to wait or cancel for a prompt refund of the unshipped items. We will obtain any consent required for the delay and cancel and refund where required if that consent is not obtained. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available.

6. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or military addresses. Products arrive flat-packed and require assembly.

Provide a complete, accurate delivery address and contact us promptly if it needs correction. Once an order has shipped, an address change may not be possible. If your parcel is missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier and arrange an appropriate resolution. Carrier delays do not remove your legal rights or our obligations concerning delivery and refunds.

7. Returns and limited warranty

Unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Customers pay return shipping for these returns. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection. Contact support@catterpod.com for return instructions before sending products back.

Catterpod components have a one-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects. Normal wear and damage from misuse, including failure to use wall brackets where required, are excluded. Carpeted and scratching surfaces wear with use; normal wear is not a manufacturing defect.

The unused-product return conditions do not restrict remedies available for defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods under applicable law. These terms do not disclaim our stated one-year warranty or any warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Assembly, installation and safe use

Catterpod is a floor-supported system. Configurations identified in the Assembly & Installation Guide as requiring wall brackets must be secured using suitable hardware. Read and follow the guide supplied with your product and our Product Disclaimer and Safety Policy before installation and use.

You are responsible for assessing your wall construction, selecting appropriate fasteners, following installation instructions and consulting a qualified professional where necessary. Inspect components and mounting points regularly, retighten hardware when needed, and stop use if anything appears loose, damaged or unsafe.

Consider your cat’s size, mobility and physical ability, and provide safe landing areas. The system may not be suitable for every cat. Do not allow children to climb or sit on it, modify the products, or combine them with unsupported parts. Contact us before purchase or use if you are unsure about suitability or installation.

These responsibilities do not waive rights concerning product defects or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Website use and intellectual property

Catterpod’s branding, designs, photographs, text and other website content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the website for legitimate shopping and personal reference. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit our content without permission, except as permitted by law.

Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, malware, unauthorized collection of personal information, or attempts to bypass security or disrupt the service. We may restrict access for misuse, while preserving obligations relating to existing orders and legally required refunds.

10. Reviews and feedback

If you submit a product review or other content for public display, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to it and that it reflects your honest experience. Disclose any incentive or compensation associated with a review.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and format that submitted public content in connection with our store and product marketing. We will not edit reviews to misrepresent their meaning. Private customer-support messages are handled under our Privacy Policy and are not made public under this license.

We may remove unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing content. Submitting feedback does not create an entitlement to payment unless separately agreed.

11. Third-party services and Shopify

Third-party websites or optional tools linked from our store may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review those terms when using their services. Links do not imply that we control the third party.

Catterpod is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Catterpod. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Catterpod, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Catterpod.

In this section, “Services” means our website, store and related products and services. The consumer-rights safeguard in section 1 applies to this section.

12. Website availability and limitations of liability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may correct website errors and temporarily suspend features for maintenance. This does not reduce our commitments for products already ordered.

To the extent permitted by law, Catterpod is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business profits or business opportunities, arising from website use or product purchases. We do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any injury, loss or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in this section limits required refunds, our express product warranty or mandatory consumer remedies.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. This choice of law does not deprive you of those protections or any right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.

Please contact support@catterpod.com about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. Doing so is not a condition that limits a legal right or filing deadline. These terms do not require arbitration or waive participation in a class action.

14. Changes and general provisions

We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. We will post the revised version and its effective date, and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retrospectively reduce the rights or commitments attached to an existing order without your agreement or a legal basis.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. These terms, the linked policies and the specific terms of your order form the agreement for that order, subject to your mandatory legal rights.
